Another National Award for Prendergast School?

The Governors of the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools are delighted to announce that Prendergast School has been nominated for the prestigious National Education Business Awards in the Outstanding Progress Secondary Category.

Sue Roberts Headteacher said, ‘I am delighted for my school, students and staff that their hard work and progress has been recognised in this way. Following our awards for progress with Pupil Premium students and recognition by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust, we are pleased that our efforts and expertise are receiving national recognition.’

The award is presented to the UK Secondary School that has made outstanding progress in the management of its facilities, finances and human resources and can demonstrate an increase in the educational performance of the school.

Now in its 11th year, the Education Business Awards recognises successful schools and projects that demonstrate how the dedication of teaching and management staff, coupled with sound investment, have delivered better learning environments.  The Awards will be presented this year by Cheryl Baker.  Schools and Academies from all over the UK will be there on the day, in the hope of picking up a coveted Award and gaining recognition from their peers in the sector.   The National Association of School Business Management are setting the professional standards for the profession and promoting the significance of school business management professionals.
