National Rail Strikes June 21st, 23rd, 25th

The RMT Union has announced strike action on the rail network this week. Strikes are planned on Tuesday 21st June, Thursday 23rd June and Saturday 25th June.

Tube drivers will also strike on Tuesday 21st June.

On these dates only around half of Britain’s rail network will be open. Lines that are open are expected to have a very limited service, approximately 20% of the normal service running from around 7.30am until 6.30pm. Passengers should expect disruption throughout the whole of this week, including the days where no strike action is scheduled.

The DfE has advised that pupils and teachers who may use trains to travel to and from school/work should consider alternative travel arrangements on these days to get to school/work and to attend exams.

Please allow plenty of travel time.
