GCSE Results 2025!

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are pleased to bring you news of Federation schools GCSE results for the 2025 academic year. Congratulations to all of our students for all of their hard work! We are proud of you!

Prendergast Ladywell School Press Release

Prendergast Ladywell School is delighted to announce another year of fantastic GCSE results. Students have achieved remarkable outcomes, setting the stage for their future academic progression.

A significant number of students surpassed expectations, 48%  achieved Strong outcomes, Grade 5 or above in English and Maths, and 67% achieved the Grade 4 Standard Pass. These strong outcomes reflect the dedication and hard work of both students and staff. 

Alongside English and Mathematics, strong academic outcomes were achieved by our students in Science, Computer Science, Modern Foreign Languages, Art, Drama and Music.

Particular commendation goes to individual students who excelled in their studies. Omri, Thomas, Shirley, and Sydney achieved an impressive number of top grades, including multiple Grade 9s. 

The school's commitment to providing a supportive and nurturing environment has undoubtedly contributed to these outstanding results. Prendergast Ladywell School is proud to have enabled its students to achieve their full potential and progress to the next stage of their education, including progression to Prendergast Sixth Form.

Headteacher, Niall Hand, expressed his immense pride in the students' accomplishments: "I am thrilled to see our students achieve such excellent results. Their hard work and dedication, coupled with the support of our dedicated staff, have led to these outstanding outcomes. Prendergast School Press Release

Following on from our brilliant results for Prendergast Sixth Form, the school is pleased to announce another set of fantastic results for GCSE.   We are thrilled that our students have once again achieved an excellent set of results, showing continuous improvement across all subjects.  We are incredibly proud of them and wish to congratulate them all for all of their hard work.   

79% of students achieved a grade 4 and above in English and Maths and 72% at 5 and above. 92% of all students achieved a 4+ in English and 82% of our students achieved a 4+ in Maths.  Achievement in the EBACC (English Baccalaureate) at 5+ has continued to improve significantly and at 65% continues to once again be well above national. 

35% of all entries gained a grade 8/9 (A*) and 54% of all entries gained a grade 7 (A) or above.  We are proud of all of our students.  However, we have once again had some exceptional individual performances.  A phenomenal 43 students gained at least 8 grades at 7-9 for their GCSEs.  Amaanah, Ciara and Jessica all achieved nine grade 9s each among their grades.  Lily achieved 12 grade 8’s and 9’s, and  Leila and Zoe all achieved 11 grade 8s and 9s. 

Emilia, Isabelle, Carmen and Clara all achieved ten or more grade 8s and 9s, and Jessica, Avril, Lola, Amania, Amirha, Phoebe, Marianne, Zoe and Destiny all achieved nine or more grade 8s and 9s.  There are, of course, many more cases of good performance and we look forward to celebrating these results with the students.

Prendergast Vale School Press Release

Prendergast Vale School is delighted to announce another year with many strong academic performances.  Students and staff have worked hard to ensure young people achieve and are able to progress to their next stages of learning.

We are really proud of excellent results from some of our students - Ethan achieved 5 grade 9s and 4 grade 8s and Matthew, Kishoban, Katie, Benji, Mithujkab, Miachaela, Vakaris, Travis and Kamaro who all averaged above a grade 7 across their set of GCSE results.  The following pupils also have made exceptional progress based on their starting points - Vianna, Waris and Tanay amongst many other pupils at our school.  

We are really proud of excellent outcomes across a range of subjects including English, Science, Music, RE, Computer Science and Food Technology that have seen strong performances this year reflecting our commitment to excellent outcomes at Prendergast Vale.
