Federation schools will be closed on Monday 19th September 2022, to observe the state funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

This day has been announced as a bank holiday and schools have been informed by the Department for Education to close.

Schools will re-open to all students on Tuesday 20th September.

Federation schools continue to deliver a full programme of sessions and learning to help students mark this historical moment, and navigate any feelings they may have about such an event.
